The building that houses Elegance Lofts is the first apartment complex ever built in the center of Kavala, dating back to 1938. It is an architectural landmark and an important part of the city’s cultural heritage. Designed by a Swedish architect with strict technical specifications, it was originally inhabited by affluent families and
officials, maintaining a sense of prestige and high standards.

During World War II, the building’s basement served as a shelter for residents — a space that met all technical safety standards and was regularly inspected until the 1980s.

Today, the building retains its noble identity, while the apartments have been fully renovated with a contemporary design and modern comforts. The contrast between the minimalist aesthetics of the interiors and the historic character of the structure creates a unique lodging experience — warm, authentic, and full of personality.
